2026 has opened with new shadows over the world
and with them has once again arisen the need to look beyond what is happening.

Food, today, is part of the forces of resistance against evil
because, even before being an objective cultural fact, it is a source of life.

Perhaps even those of us who are fortunate enough to experience the echoes of conflicts as a sufficiently distant concern
must learn, or have already learned, something about food.
That its value, that is, goes beyond refinement, market valuation, and the interest it generates among chefs.
Millions of images, in fact, show us how for many — too many — people, food is nothing but the hope of survival.

In this sense, this year we are committed to seeking out those who produce and promote to visitors of their territory
products and preparations that respect the Planet and its inhabitants.

We are looking for those who, through food, offer hope in the future of us all.
