Landscape, greenery and sustainability: designing the value of Open Air destinations

In Open Air tourism, landscape represents a strategic element capable of generating economic value, territorial identity and well-being for guests. The conference will explore the role of environmental design and green space management as tools for improving the sustainability, accessibility and overall quality of hospitality facilities. Through concrete examples and practical case studies, innovative solutions will be presented for integrating mobile homes, tree planting, open spaces and infrastructure within a harmonious and resilient context. Drawing also on the experience of the Olympic and Paralympic Village of Cortina 2026, the event will offer a reflection on the contribution that landscape planning can make to the competitiveness and environmental regeneration of Open Air tourist destinations.
