Mediterranean Diet UNESCO Heritage: local and quality productions as a driver for sustainable tourism development

The conference "Quality typical productions at the service of the Mediterranean Diet" aims to explore the role of typical and quality productions, referred to in the Mediterranean Diet, which are recognized by UNESCO as intangible heritage and which, as such, can play a fundamental role in enhancing Italian specificities and for the development, also in terms of tourism, of the territories. Within the panel, analyzing the food and wine excellences and traditional productions, it will be highlighted how these are key tools for promoting sustainable and quality tourism, especially in the territories involved in the Mirabilia Special Project promoted by Unioncamere with the technical and scientific support of Isnart.
