National conference of beach entrepreneurs affiliated with SIB-FIPE-Confcommercio

The Union was formally established on December 14, 1960, and through FIPE, it adheres to Confcommercio. It associates tourist-beach companies from all Italian coastal regions, managed on maritime state property under concession regime; it ensures assistance to businesses in all coastal municipalities through its representatives or local organizations of FIPE and Confcommercio—Confturismo; it carries out initiatives, proposals, and coordination projects with all institutional entities entrusted with the country's tourism policy choices; it intervenes to protect and safeguard the category's interests on legislative, economic, and trade union levels at central committees and service conferences established in peripheral offices of Public Administration (Regions, Provinces, Municipalities, Port Authorities, Financial Intendancy, etc.); it participates in the stipulation of the National Labor Contract and supplementary provincial agreements for employees of bathing establishments, providing assistance and information to members in case of disputes on the subject; it is part of the FEE jury for the assignment of "Blue Flags"; it conducts initiatives to protect and safeguard beaches, water surfaces, and hinterland in synergy with the main environmental associations; it estimates and proposes to local authorities the study and implementation of "beach utilization plans", "territorial pacts", and "commercial marketing" related to the enhancement of the "sea" resource in a harmonious development of the coastal economy and its reflections in the hinterland; it maintains a constant relationship with the Italian and European Parliament on economic measures to support beach businesses, maintains relations with regional, provincial, and municipal councils; it promotes studies, debates, and conferences on specific themes and issues affecting beach operators, participates in the most important events on the country's tourist product; it takes care of informing companies and responds to fiscal, administrative, and legislative questions formulated by members, with its own circulars on its website.
