Event
innovation, skills and generational transition in the digital age
Tourism is undergoing a dual transformation: on the one hand, the adoption of emerging technologies (AI, metaverse, digital heritage), and on the other, the need to support generational transition within businesses — often family-owned — that form the backbone of the sector.
The event is conceived as an active and interactive space for dialogue between businesses, young innovators, research centres and policy makers, to explore how:
- · innovation (including the advanced forms promoted by MetaHeritage) can become a driver of attractiveness and competitiveness;
- · generational transition can be transformed from a critical moment into an opportunity for strategic and cultural renewal (in line with the objectives of the Success Skills project);
- · new competencies and organisational models can support the transition.
Not a traditional panel, but a guided dialogue driven by stimuli, with the direct involvement of the audience, aimed at contributing to the achievement of the following objectives:
- · Connecting technological innovation with entrepreneurial continuity
- · Highlighting best practices of successful generational transition
- · Fostering cross-pollination between tourism SMEs, startups, research and training institutions
- · Activating new connections for future projects (including European ones)
