The presentation proposes to move beyond the mere concept of barrier removal, embracing human diversity as a foundational design principle.
Design For All and Inclusive Design become tools for enhancing the overall guest experience, making spaces more intuitive, comfortable and accessible to a wider audience. Lighting, air quality, acoustics, ergonomics, technology, materials and communication can thus translate into greater perceived quality, guest autonomy and competitive value for the property. The goal is not to create 'special' spaces, but better hotels for everyone. Accessibility is the starting point; inclusive hospitality can become a true differentiating factor in the market.
