The voices of food. 2025 brings much uncertainty and some hope.
The international situation is difficult to comment on, and we at Travel Food Award ultimately deal "only" with food. However, we believe that food, as history, culture,
and spirit of a people, can be a powerful tool for dialogue. The power of inclusion through food is extremely broad. It breaks down geographical and mental boundaries, tells something about those who produced or cooked it,
and is a way to involve anyone, even those who, for many reasons - cultural or physical - are different.
The ethics of food can be expressed in a thousand ways. From producing and transforming it without harming the Planet to avoiding excesses and waste. From donating it to those who don't have it to promoting inclusive conviviality. For this reason, we persistently seek out the voices of those working in the agri-food sector.
To give a voice to those who, through food, address everyone.
