Daniele is a researcher with interests in sustainable mobility, tourism, and competition in transportation. For several years, he has been involved in cycle tourism in collaboration with the Italian Federation for Environment and Cycling (FIAB). He conducts educational activities at the University of Insubria related to the role of tourism in territorial development and various forms of social responsibility in modern businesses. He obtained a degree in Political Economy from Bocconi University and a PhD in Economics from the University of Genoa.
