Erica Mazzetti

Erica Mazzetti is a Tuscan political figure and technical professional, a member of the Italian Parliament in the ranks of Forza Italia. First elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2018 and confirmed in the current legislature, she combines a long grassroots commitment – which has seen her active since 2004 at the local level and as provincial coordinator in Prato – with a deep expertise in the construction and urban planning sector. A surveyor and self-employed professional running her own practice in Prato, she has brought the experience gained in close contact with the productive fabric directly into national legislative activity. At the Chamber, she holds the position of Secretary of the Parliamentary Committee for Simplification and sits permanently as a member of the VIII Committee (Environment, Territory and Public Works). In these roles, she is among the promoters of key reforms aimed at streamlining bureaucracy for businesses, including proposals for the new Public Procurement Code. Her area of focus centres on the themes of the circular economy, infrastructure, combating hydrogeological risk and energy transition. A firm supporter of pragmatic and liberal environmentalism, she has represented Italian institutions at major international climate summits, such as COP26 and COP27. Combining technical rigour with political vision, she constantly acts as a bridge between the needs of local economic sectors, professional associations and the decision-making processes in Rome.
