Ester Tamasi

Ester Tamasi, with a professional background developed across various areas of tourism, from hotels to tour operating, through to marketing, has been with VisitMalta since 2009, when she oversaw the start-up phase of the organisation, eventually becoming Director for Italy in 2019. Over the years, she has guided an important repositioning journey for the Malta and Gozo product, now promoted as year-round destinations capable of appealing to a variety of target audiences and interests, with particular focus on the MICE, sports and luxury segments. Italy is today one of the key source markets for Maltese incoming tourism. Digitalisation and product innovation are at the core of the growth and development of the promotional strategy pursued by the VisitMalta Italia team.
