Floriano Omoboni

Television host and producer of sports and tourism programs. From a young age, he cultivated a passion for sports. He studied at the Isef in Perugia, graduated in Physical Education in Florence, and taught physical education in high schools in Milan. As a true enthusiast, he experiences sports in all its forms: from teaching to sportswear, from PR to professional involvement in some disciplines, and finally to sports journalism, a role that now sees him as a protagonist in various television programs. His passion finds its maximum field of expression in Powerboating, and during the 80s and 90s, he achieved excellent results. In 2012, he won the European championship and the world bronze in Endurance, and secured the third position in the Centomiglia del Lario. In 1995, he founded GTO2000, a company specialized in the production of television programs. The last 30 years have been a crescendo of successes in terms of produced formats, viewership, and sponsors. All the television programs he has created and hosted embrace a varied universe: from winter sports such as alpine skiing to mountain biking, from cross-country skiing to ski mountaineering, encompassing all the specialties where the sea is the protagonist, such as sailing, powerboating, and water skiing. These are emerging sports disciplines followed by a loyal, knowledgeable, and passionate audience. Since 2006, Floriano Omoboni has also been producing a format dedicated to the world of cruising, created with the contribution of the world's major players in the sector.
