Franco Alberti

He is an Architect and Executive with over 35 years of experience in Public Administration. Currently serving as Director of the Regional Institute for Venetian Villas, he has held senior management roles within the Veneto Region in key departments (Energy, Territorial and Urban Planning). He specializes in urban planning, territorial development, energy, and landscape, with strong expertise in managing interdisciplinary teams. He is President of the Veneto Section of the National Institute of Urban Planning and a member of several regional and national commissions and committees (e.g., Environmental Impact Assessment Committee – VIA). He has coordinated numerous European Territorial Cooperation projects (e.g., DIVAS, ALPTER, SUSPLAN). Graduated in Architecture with honors, he has received awards and honorable mentions in international competitions (e.g., Premio Tuteliamo l’Ambiente 1988).
