Laura Genovese

PhD in Archaeology and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Heritage Sciences of the National Research Council. She is a member of the National Scientific Committee for Cultural Tourism of ICOMOS Italy and of the CNR Working Group on UNESCO Sites and Faro Heritage Communities Network Italy. She is an expert in enhancing cultural sites through the evaluation of methods and tools to improve their sustainable use, promote their integration at different territorial scales, stimulating sustainable growth processes based on heritage. In this context, she has been responsible for several projects both at national and international level, particularly with Europe and China, collaborating with public and private entities and citizens' associations. She has organized numerous scientific conferences at national and international level. She has published numerous scientific contributions and is currently editor of the special issue Cultural Tourism, UNESCO Sites and 2030 Agenda: Where Are We At?
