Luigi Stefanelli

Since October 2024, he has held the position of Vice President Worldwide Sales at Costa Cruises, with commercial responsibility in all the following regions: Southern Europe (Italy, France, Spain, Portugal), where he maintains direct management; DACH (Germany, Switzerland, Austria); Americas (North and South America); and International (Northern and Eastern Europe and emerging markets). After starting his career as a consultant at Ernst & Young Financial Business Advisor in Rome, Luigi Stefanelli joined Costa in 2011 at the Genoa headquarters in the Pricing & Revenue Management department. Since then, he has held roles of increasing responsibility in various countries where the company operates. He first worked as Business Development & Pricing Director for the Asia Pacific & Australia area, living in Shanghai for three years. He then returned to Europe as General Manager for the Costa and AIDA brands in the Austria & Switzerland markets, and later as General Manager Central Europe. From 2019, he progressively assumed commercial responsibility for Costa in Spain and Portugal, France and Italy, until becoming Associate Vice President Southern Europe Region in 2023.
