Biography
She began her acting training with dance theatre, studying the Stanislavski method with Beatrice Bracco and taking part in workshops with masters such as: Michael Margotta, Marylin Freed, teachers from the Actor's Studio in New York, Nikolaj Karpov, Steven Berkoff and Augusto Omulù, dancer and actor of the Odin Theatret.
Since 2009 she has been managing the Quirino Vittorio Gassman theatre and is the creator of Theatrical Festivals and Reviews.
Her curious and artistic nature has led her to experiences in the world of acting in a variety of roles, from Theatre to Cinema to Television.
An actress of profoundly chameleon-like talent, Marianella Bargilli has traversed the Italian stage, giving life to characters that are each time different and surprising: fragile and determined women, tragic and ironic figures, queens, temptresses, protagonists and ensemble performers. A journey in which, from Pirandello to Shakespeare, from Racine to Ginzburg, from Viviani to Scarpetta, every role becomes a new identity to inhabit, confirming her extraordinary ability to transform herself and leave a personal mark on every character.
Always a great sports enthusiast.
She has practised horse riding, running, athletics, cycling, swimming, skiing and snowboarding, skating, yoga, pilates, volleyball and squash, as well as having tried fencing and trekking. For her, sport means movement, discipline, energy and above all freedom.
Sensitive to the themes of freedom and rights, Marianella Bargilli has chosen to combine her artistic activity with a concrete commitment to social causes. She is the founder of Pedale Rosso ODV, a project that brings together sport, community and awareness-raising to combat gender-based violence. Cycling thus also becomes a tool for freedom, courage and participation.
