Mariangela Pecora

HR Director Italy & Maldives at The Palace Company Srl, a luxury hotel chain of the Baglioni brand, a role she has held since 2024. Graduated in Law from the University of Genoa and holding a Master's in Advanced HR Management from SDA Bocconi, she has developed a professional career entirely dedicated to human resources management in the hospitality and retail sectors. Prior to taking on her current role, she served as Human Resources Director Italy & Greece for Accorinvest (now Essendi) and Director of Human Resources for Marriott International in Milan, as well as having held positions of increasing responsibility at NH Hotels, DHL Express and Gruppo Carrefour. Throughout her career she has led teams of up to 14 people, managed industrial relations at a national level and promoted talent management and digital transformation initiatives for HR processes. Her approach combines methodological rigour, strategic vision and a strong focus on people, with the goal of creating work environments in which performance, professional growth and organisational well-being can develop in a balanced and sustainable way. These same values also guide her personal journey as a mother, attentive to building opportunities and prospects for new generations, helping to define an authentic, inclusive and future-oriented leadership style.
