An electronic engineer by training, leads Stripe's operations in Italy and Iberia. He joined Stripe in November 2021 and is based in Madrid, where he defines the go-to-market strategy for both regions. Mattia and his team help companies from various sectors and industries leverage Stripe's global network as a strategic asset for global business growth. Before joining Stripe, Mattia was part of the team that launched and expanded Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Iberia, taking on various leadership roles, including Head of Enterprise Segment for Spain and Portugal, as well as leading the Global Financial Services Segment for Southern Europe. Over the past 20 years, he has held positions in companies such as Cisco and Salesforce.com, operating in both Italy and Spain.
