Paola Fortuna

Biography

She is the current mayor of the Vicenza municipality, Pojana Maggiore, serving her third term with the civic list Crescere con Voi. Her background combines extensive experience in teaching and a deep civic passion, elements that have led her to view administration as a natural extension of her educational and social commitment. During her terms, she has promoted concrete and strategic projects for the development of the area. Particularly significant is the cycling path under construction that will connect Pojana to Noventa Vicentina, an initiative that integrates sustainable mobility, safety, and tourism enhancement. Alongside infrastructure, Paola Fortuna has devoted great attention to community welfare. In 2025, she supported the opening of an Anti-Violence Help Desk and a Listening Desk, implemented in collaboration with the Veneto Region, ULSS, law enforcement, and local associations: a fundamental safeguard and support for women victims of violence. An aspect she particularly cares about is the commitment to young people, considered the true future of the community. Through cultural, educational, and social initiatives, she aims to strengthen the sense of belonging and create new opportunities for growth and participation, so that new generations can choose to live and build their future in Pojana Maggiore. Her action is characterized by care for the outlying areas and peripheral realities, the promotion of culture, and the creation of innovative services. With solid roots in the territory and a forward-looking vision, Paola Fortuna today represents a point of reference for her citizens and an example of attentive, concrete administration close to the people.
