Pietro Piccinetti

He began his professional career within the Olivetti Group where he held various managerial roles in South America, USA, UK, France, and Italy. After concluding his experience in the Olivetti group, he started working with Private Equity funds in various industrial sectors with corporate management positions (CEO/President). His last professional experience before joining Infratel was as President of Recrytera, a company active in the development and management of digital platforms, including for local and central Public Administration. He managed Italian exhibition centers, developing several highly successful international trade fairs. He earned a degree in Systems Engineering and an honorary degree in Industrial Engineering, in addition to various advanced courses in Business Management in Italy and the USA. He currently holds the following positions: • Chief Executive Officer of Infratel Italia S.p.A. – Infrastructure and Telecommunications for Italy • Representative for the Vatican's Centesimus Annus Pro Pontefice Foundation • Member of the Board of Directors of the Italy-China Foundation representing MIMIT (Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy) • Vice President of AEFI, the Italian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions, President of the Internationalization Commission • Member of the Board of Directors of Convention Bureau
