Simone Russo

Simone Russo, CEO of Immodrone - is a visionary Italian entrepreneur, active in the fields of drones, artificial intelligence, and digital marketing, recognized for his innovative approach. He was awarded by Wired (2015) as one of the 5 most promising under 35, featured in Parliament (2016), on the cover of Capital (2018), included by Forbes (2019) in the Top 100 young leaders of the future, and received the Italia Giovane under 40 Award from Centro Studi Americani (2022). In 2015, he founded Immodrone, an "Uber for drones" with over 1,500 pilots in Italy, producing high-impact visual content for the real estate and tourism sectors, enhanced by machine learning technologies developed in Silicon Valley. From Immodrone's decade-long experience, AIMS was born: an intelligent ecosystem for modern hospitality. AIMS combines visual storytelling and conversational technology, with listings designed to convert thanks to professional images and videos. Its marketing campaigns are optimized with big data and machine learning, while the AI Receptionist, a multilingual digital concierge (25 languages), manages every contact up to booking, simplifying front office activities without ever keeping the customer waiting. In 2021, Simone co-founded Inspectiondrone srl, for high-precision infrastructure inspections using drones and artificial intelligence, supported by prominent managers and the former rector of the Polytechnic University of Turin. In 2022, he also launched Immodrone Academy srl for training pilots and industry professionals. He has an international background: BAC diploma in France, bachelor's degree from Bocconi University, Erasmus at HEC Lausanne, and has lived in Switzerland and Australia. He also worked at the startup DroneGuardy in San Francisco. Since 2020, he has been teaching university courses at Luiss, University of Bologna, and SAA Turin, on AI, Big Data, and digital marketing. He has been a speaker at events such as BIT, SMAU London, Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, and Polytechnic University of Milan.
