Vittorio Grassi

Biography

Born in 1968 and graduated in 1993 from the Faculty of Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano, he boasts 25 years of international professional experience. After graduation, he began his career in Paris and then in the United Kingdom with Rick Mather Architects until 1997. From 1997 to 2005, he was called to Genoa by Renzo Piano and joined the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, becoming an associate architect since 2000. After leaving RPBW in 2005, he founded his own studio in Milan and opened a branch in Paris in 2013. Vittorio Grassi has given lectures at the AA School of Architecture in London, the University of Cape Town, the University of Bath, and other Italian universities. Since 2008, he has been a visiting professor at the F.lli Pesenti Master School at the Department of Structural Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano. He is a member of the Order of Architects of the Province of Varese, the Order of Architects of the United Kingdom, the Order of Architects of Île de France, and since 2014 holds the title of Chartered Member at the Royal Institute of British Architects. Supported by an international team of architects, urban planners, and interior designers, he conceives and develops a wide variety of projects: from urban planning to residential complexes, hotels, offices, commercial spaces, and public buildings worldwide.
