Andrea Ermelli

Andrea Ermelli is the Chief Executive Officer of METELLA Container Solutions, a company specialising in the design and transformation of containers and modular systems for the hospitality, commercial, sports and tourism sectors. Under his leadership, METELLA has developed a production model based on advanced prefabrication and dry construction, creating structures that are quickly assembled, easily expanded, reconfigured according to seasonal needs and can be relocated without leaving permanent works. His international experience has led METELLA to create modular solutions for beaches and waterfronts in several countries, experimenting with residential formats, experiential spaces and service modules capable of integrating with the natural environment and with the new dynamics of coastal tourism. In a context shaped by the Bolkestein Directive and the need to reconcile innovation with public land constraints, Ermelli has transformed the container from a simple transport element into a design platform that combines design, functionality, sustainability and investment protection.
