He obtained his Master's degree in Computer Engineering (with honors) from the University of Bologna, where he also completed his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering and now holds the position of Assistant Professor. His research interests include cloud continuum, next-generation networks, serverless computing, middleware, and architectural approaches for innovative tourism, smart cities, and industrial applications. He has collaborated with local companies and public institutions to promote technology transfer. In particular, he is currently co-chair of the regional working group on Smart Tourism, which aims to support regional tourism development by proposing technological and organizational solutions.
