He graduated with honours in Political Science from the University of Rome 'La Sapienza', obtained a specialisation with distinction from the Phoenix Institute at the University of Notre Dame, and a PhD from the University of Bologna. A senior State official, he has extensive experience in international economic relations, trade policies and foreign investment attraction. He has held positions at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Permanent Representation of Italy to the European Union, representing the country in committees dedicated to international trade and investment. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Invitalia and coordinated the Task Force on foreign direct investment at the Ministry of Economic Development. Since 2022, he has been Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.
