Gianpaolo Basile

Gianpaolo Basile is Full Professor of Business Economics and Management at Universitas Mercatorum and Adjunct Professor of Business Economics and Management Tools at Sapienza University of Rome, CORIS Department. He is the author of numerous publications in prestigious journals and a member of SIMA, SIMKTG, AIDEA, EURAM, EUROMED and the Institute of Place Management (IPM) at Manchester Metropolitan University. Furthermore, he is the scientific coordinator of directly or indirectly funded European projects, as well as responsible for strategic planning of Municipalities, wide areas and Local Action Groups (LAGs). His research interests focus on the study of sustainability models and processes from the perspective of businesses and territories.
