Secondina Ravera

She is an Italian manager and entrepreneur with over thirty years of experience in top management of leading companies in the telecommunications, technology, tourism, consulting, and healthcare sectors. Born in Cuneo, she graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin and obtained an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau. She began her career at McKinsey & Company, where she became an Associate Principal working on strategic projects across Europe and the United States. In 2000, she entered the industrial world: she was CEO of the airline company Gandalf, and then a key figure in the development of 3 Italia, where she held top positions up to General Management and led the complex merger between Wind and H3G as Merger Integration Officer in 2016-2017. She was the first female President of ASSTEL (Confindustria Telecommunications), and sits on the boards of important public and private entities: Reply, Polo del Gusto (Illy Group), Il Sole 24 Ore, Fincantieri, A2A, INWIT, OTB Group. In 2018, she founded Destination Italia, the largest Italian TravelTech company for high-quality incoming tourism, now a listed company with stakes from Intesa Sanpaolo and Lastminute.com, with offices in Italy and abroad. She leads digital innovation projects, territorial promotion, and enhancement of inland areas. She has been President of ASP Martinitt, Stelline and Pio Albergo Trivulzio, Vice President of the Task Force Italia, and an active member of associations such as Fondazione Bellisario, Valore D, In The Boardroom, Inclusione Donna. Today, she also sits on the executive committees of Assonext, FTO and chairs the Advisory Committee of Neva SGR (Intesa Sanpaolo). She has received numerous recognitions including the Italian Excellence Award (2024), the R.O.S.A. Award, the ALDAI "Merit & Talent" Award, and the title of Woman of the Year from Rotary Milano Sempione.
