Antonia Gravagnuolo

Mara Manente is a Board Member of the Italian Touring Club, a member of the Advisory Committee of the Master’s Degree Programme in Tourism and Sustainability Management at the University of Cagliari, and former Director of CISET, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Her research focuses on tourism economics and planning, and she has published extensively in national and international journals and volumes. She has collaborated with the World Tourism Organization within the Committee on Statistics and Macroeconomic Analysis of Tourism and the Working Group on Measuring Sustainable Tourism, as well as with the European Commission. She has contributed to the development of the methodology for the compilation of Tourism Satellite Accounts and to the development of the ETIS (European Tourism Indicators System). She is also a member of the International Association of Scientific Experts in Tourism (AIEST) and the Tourist Research Centre (TRC). In 2017, she was appointed National Pivot for the Economy Platform within the BLUEMED Programme and is currently a member of Action Group 2 within EUSALP – EU Strategy for the Alpine Region.
